Terms of Service
Effective date: September 8, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and BloodWorker ("we", "us") covering your use of bloodworker.com and everything on it. By creating an account, uploading a file, or using any part of the service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
What BloodWorker is, and what it is not
BloodWorker is an educational and informational tool. It reads blood test results you provide and explains what the markers mean in plain language, with context drawn from published reference ranges and general medical literature.
It is not a medical device, and it does not practise medicine. It does not diagnose any condition, does not recommend or prescribe treatment, and does not tell you to start, stop, or change any medication. It does not replace consultation with a licensed healthcare professional. Using it does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and us, and nothing it produces is medical advice.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for anything on this site, and do not use it to decide whether an emergency is real.
Always discuss your results, and any action you are considering because of them, with your doctor. Your doctor has your history, your examination, and your full clinical picture. We have a file.
About the AI analysis
Analyses are produced by automated systems, including large language models. These systems can be wrong. They can misread a value, miss something important, describe a normal result as concerning, or describe a concerning result as normal. Output can vary between runs on the same input.
You are responsible for checking anything the service tells you against your actual test report and with your clinician. Do not rely on it as your only source, and do not act on it alone.
Who may use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. The service is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly accept their information. You may upload results belonging to someone else only if you are legally entitled to do so, such as a parent or legal guardian acting for a dependant, and you are responsible for having that authority.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and your account details accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. We may suspend or close an account being used to break these terms or the law, or in a way that threatens the service or other users.
Acceptable use
Do not use BloodWorker to break the law, to upload material you have no right to upload, or to attempt to reach accounts, data, or systems that are not yours. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or resell the service. Do not present its output to anyone else as a diagnosis or as professional medical advice.
Your files and your content
Your test results and reports remain yours. We do not claim ownership of them. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store, process, and analyse what you upload so we can return a result, and to keep it available in your account until you delete it.
How we handle that data, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Payment
Some features are paid. Prices, and what a purchase includes, are shown at the point of purchase. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store your card details. Unless the law where you live provides otherwise, a purchased analysis is non-refundable once it has been generated, because the cost is incurred at that point. If something goes wrong on our side and you did not get what you paid for, contact us and we will put it right.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and may add or remove features. We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability; maintenance, faults, and third-party outages happen.
Third-party services
The service relies on third parties for hosting, payment processing, and AI analysis, and their failures can affect ours. Any third-party site we link to is governed by its own terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that any analysis will be accurate or complete, or that it will meet your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty-five US dollars.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms or of the law.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if required by law, or if continuing would create risk for the service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive it, including the disclaimers, the limitation of liability, and the indemnity.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in New Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. When we make a material change we will update the effective date above, and where the change materially affects your rights we will give registered users notice by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
