Select a marker, your age, and your sex to see the typical normal range, plus the other markers you need to read alongside it. A range on its own is only half an answer.
Reference intervals are not universal constants. Each laboratory establishes its own, based on the analyzer it runs and the population it serves, which is why the same ferritin result can be flagged low at one lab and normal at another. The ranges here are typical adult intervals in common US units, useful for orientation and for understanding what a marker means. Always compare your result against the interval printed on your own report. Where a widely accepted optimal band is narrower than the reference range, it is shown separately.
